Holiday Kidz Kamp 2008
Parents and kids love this program designed to make school holidays more fun and exciting. Campers go on a different field trip each day. Each camp is priced individually to work around your holiday vacation plans. Pick and choose what works for you!
Camp meets each morning at The Colony Recreation Center beginning at 7am. Field trip departure and return times will vary by day and parents will be notified prior to each field trip. Campers need to be picked up at the Recreation Center no later than 6pm each day.
Registration fees for each camp vary depending on the activities planned. Campers need to wear a yellow t-shirt to camp each day for field trips. If you would like, you may purchase a Kidz Kamp t-shirt at the Recreation Center for $8. There may be optional extra costs for souvenirs, snacks, or games. Lunch is not provided.

Multiple Camp Break:
Register your child for 5 or more days of camp and receive a $10 discount. Register your child for all 8 days of camp and receive a $20 discount. Discounts not available online. Please note...There is one day of camp during Thanksgiving and 7 days during Winter Break for a total of 8 days of camp.

Summer 2009 Kidz Kamp
Kidz Kamp is for girls and boys between the ages of 6 and 11. Daily activities at camp include arts and crafts, sports and athletics, games, group activities, and more. Campers go on weekly field trips and will visit The Colony Aquatic Park twice a week for an afternoon of water activities and fun in the sun. Our trained counselors work to ensure that each child has a fun and rewarding camp experience.
Campers must bring their own sack lunch and water bottle each day. Each camper will be provided with one t-shirt to be worn on field trips. Additional t-shirts will be available for purchase at the Recreation Center.
Summer Kidz Kamp will meet each morning at Camey Elementary School beginning at 7am. The last session or two of camp typically meets at The Colony Recreation Center.
Cost:
The camp fee is approximately $110 per week (varies by session), plus a one time $20 supply fee. This includes the camp registration, transportation and swimming fees, and one field trip each week. There may be other minimal fees for extra field trips, activities or special projects. The last session of the summer is a special Super Summer Blowout session and will cost approximately $210. Enrollment is very limited in this session.
Multiple Child Break:
For families with more than one child enrolled in camp, there will be a $10 per session discount for each additional child registered.
Schedule:
Kidz Kamp will be offered in one-week sessions throughout the summer. A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $40 for each week may be paid to reserve your child’s spot in camp. The remainder of the balance for each session must be paid two weeks before the start of that session, or you risk losing your child’s spot in camp. A complete newsletter with each weeks schedule will be available prior to each session.
The Summer 2009 schedule will be available no later than February 28.
Registration for summer camp begins March 3, 2009.
Drop Off / Pick Up:
Drop off at begins at 7am at Camey Elementary School. Campers will return from field trips or activities usually no later than 3:30pm and must be picked up by 6pm.
